We love raising up new leaders, training people in their gifts and talents, and empowering believers to serve in the Kingdom of God according to their specific passion and calling. When it comes to serving at SFRC, we do have a process we would like all of our volunteers to go through. This ensures that all of our teams can work together and be in agreement with one another regarding our purpose and focus in the individual ministries and the church as a whole.

Our heart is to connect you with God first and help you discover the gifts and talents he has placed inside of you. We do this by ensuring all who serve have gone through discipleship, are committed members of the church, and are aligning themselves with the principles and standards of the ministry.

culture

Our culture is made up of five elements: our core values, vision, mission, our foundational statement of faith and our standards of leadership. You don’t have to believe everything we do to attend, but we ask that all who serve and lead at SFRC acknowledge and partner with the culture of the church.

covering

When serving as SFRC, we ask that our volunteers adhere to the guidelines set for their particular area of ministry. When you are submitted under the spiritual covering of SFRC, you help keep things in order and you will reap the blessings and favor that pours down from the top.

The resources provided here are intended to help us become better leaders, organizers, and servants. We encourage all of our leadership team and volunteers to invest time in learning and recognizing their own strengths and weaknesses so we can thoroughly and effectively target areas in their lives that need improvement and utilize their strengths for ministry as we serve the Lord together.
The Spiritual Gifts Test will be used to discover the strengths you have already been given by the Holy Spirit. Learning which gifts you posses helps us to better understand how you operate and where to place you in areas of ministry and servanthood.
This test helps us to better understand you and your relationship with God, your strengths, and your weaknesses. It looks at your preferred ways of experiencing God based on your personality and spiritual background. You will need a pen and paper to complete this test.
The 5 Love Languages Test is simple and will give you and your senior leadership a better understanding of how you feel most appreciated and cared for. This ensures that we will be able to effectively encourage and edify one another.
This personality test is used to best determine what kind of leadership role is best for the characteristics and personality type you posses. By knowing your personality type we can place you in an area of servanthood that you'll thrive in.
Once you have connected with us, learned about our culture, and have the desire to submit to the spiritual covering of the ministry, talk to our leaders either before or after church about serving opportunities. We will open up a conversation about your walk with Christ, any inner healing that may need to take place, and open the door to discipleship and learning our standards of leadership when you're ready. We'll want to know the results from the tests we provided above so we can understand you better and place you in an area we believe you will thrive in!
