CLOTHING - Our clothing donations will mainly be sent to our outreach ministry in Mexico. Outerwear will be kept in storage and used for our winter homeless outreach. We accept new and used clothing for men, women, and children of all sizes and styles. We prefer for clothing items to be washed prior to donation and be free from large stains or rips. When we give back to the community we want to put our best foot forward. For undergarments, only new items will be accepted and given to those in need. All heavily damaged items and those with inappropriate words or imagery will be discarded.
FOOTWEAR - We accept all forms of new and used footwear for men. women, and children of all sizes. When bringing in footwear donations, please ensure that the shoes are wiped clean and are free of dirt, debris, and dried mud. All shoe donations will be sent to our outreach efforts in Mexico and be sanitized before being given out to the community in need.
BLANKETS - For our yearly homeless and Mexico outreaches in winter we prefer to collect new budget-friendly fleece blankets sold for $2.50 at Walmart to ensure that we can acquire a large quantity and everyone will receive the same size. On average we aim to collect/purchase 500 fleece blankets for these yearly outreaches. Any additional used bedding or comforters will be accepted and sent with our clothing and shoe donations throughout the year.
during natural disasters
During natural disasters both locally and state-wide we collect donations according to the immediate needs of the people. We often collect and distribute water bottles, basic food items, and cleaning supplies when necessary. For those who have lost their homes we also collect additional finances and clothing items. In cases where the church is operating as a shelter, we will accept additional resources such as meals, portable heaters, generators, and anything else needed according to the disaster at hand.
Financial donations are always accepted for community outreach efforts as well. If you have any questions regarding the urgent needs during a natural disaster, feel free to call the church office, reach out on social media, or send us a message on the CONTACT page so we can get back to you shortly. Thank you for your contributions and constant support as we serve the community to the best of our ability.
